Request for Duplicate Copies of Degrees & Transcripts


AUTHENTICATION/ATTESTATION OF DIPLOMA OF THE DEGREE


Institute issues only the original diploma of the degree on graduation of a student and no second copy is made as office copy. The student is supposed to submit attested copies of the degree certificate to his/her employer or any other agency where it is required to be submitted. Any authorised person at the locale of the student can do the authentication or attestation of the degree certificates. The Registrar, being the signatory of the original degree, will not attest or authenticate copies of the degree.

VERIFICATION OF DEGREES AWARDED/PROOF OF DEGREES


Universities and other organisations can get degrees verified for their prospective employees or students by writing to the Registrar, BITS. However, if the candidates are required to submit such verification or proof, they can send such communication from the organisation or university alongwith their request to the Registrar for such verification. The information will be sent direct to the organisation on the address given. They should write their ID No., Name of the degree(s) they completed, year of passing etc. in every correspondence. 

Consultancy firms/employment agents engaged in business of employment should contact following persons for the verification on chargeable basis.
