Uma S Dubey, Ph.D.

             I did my Masters in Life Sciences from the Institute of Life Sciences at Kanpur. After this I was a graduate student   and conducted research in   the Department of Plant Sciences, University of Alberta, Edmonton, Canada. Later I did my    Ph. D. in   Immunology from Sanjay Gandhi Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences, Lucknow. Subsequently, I worked as a lecturer in the Department of Biotechnology, Institute of Life Sciences, Kanpur and was also involved in teaching and program development in the departments of Biotechnology, Microbiology and Environmental Sciences.

               Presently, I am working as Assistant Professor at the Center of Biotechnology, Biological Sciences Group, BITS, Pilani. I am involved in teaching various courses and guiding many laboratory based, study oriented and research related projects to under and post graduate students of the Department.


Teaching:

I have been involved in teaching various courses at the first degree and higher degree level in capacity of Instructor-in- charge/ Instructors. I have been involved in the course planning and development of many of these.
