The unique feature of M.Sc (Hons.) Economics programme lies in flexibility by way of an option to all students admitted in the integrated economics programme to avail an opportunity to do dual degree in one of the engineering or pharmacy or discipline.

M.Sc. (Hons.) Economics & M.Sc. (Tech.) Finance degree programmes follow an innovative design that blends the rigor of technical foundation, analytical skills, process oriented learning, and creativity with a high degree of industrial interaction through the practice school programmes. The interdisciplinary knowledge coupled with basic and specialized engineering courses with broader perspective, enables these discipline graduates to adapt to the fast changing competitive environment and to meet the new challenges. The focus of learning is on analytical capabilities to diagnose socio-economic problems.

The thrust of the programme is on modelling, analytical techniques and policy planning. Students are well suited to undertake various assignments in the area of Financial Markets, Financial Services, Economic Analysis, Economic, Planning ,  IT with domain specialty in Finance, Financial Institutions & Services and Investment Institutions.
