PROFILE OF Prof. (Dr.) MEENAKSHI RAMAN

            Dr. Meenakshi Raman is an Associate Professor of English and Communication Studies at BITS, Pilani. She is also the Chief of Publications and Media Relations Unit. She has been teaching English at various levels for the past 20 years at Pilani. She has been teaching courses such as English Language Skills, Business Communication and Technical Communication for the students of First Degree and Higher Degree programs. The GRE, TOFEL and Spoken English courses initiated by her are running successfully. Presently, four faculty members are pursuing their research and several students are doing their projects under her guidance. Prof. Raman has been delivering talks and lectures at various institutions and forums and has several publications to her credit.

            One of the resident wardens of the girls' hostel Prof. Raman loves speaking to girls and offering counseling whenever necessary.
