Department of Mechanical Engineering welcomes Research driven consultancy proposals. Consultancy projects with or without the use of Institute Laboratory facility are welcome. The department is rich in human resource with wide variety of specializations and various infrastructural facilities and licensed software. There is also huge potential for Technology as well as Product incubation in the department. Refer Faculty page and Facilities page for details on capabilities. Feel free to contact the HOD for any clarification. Recently completed and ongoing consultancy work include various testing services with PHED (Rajasthan), Manpower training program with Batliboi (Surat) and Technology consultancy with EIL (New Delhi).
All consultancy charges are directly payable to “BITS Pilani”. BITS, as per its internal policy and involved expenses etc., will retain an appropriate percentage of the charged consultancy fee before disbursing the remaining amount to the consultant(s) actually contributing to the completed consultancy.
