The prestigious pilani campus of BITS is well known and synonymous with tranquillity and peace. Located at 220 km West to Delhi and 217 km North to Jaipur, it is free from the hubbub and pollution of the cities and is ideal for pursuance of excellence. The pilani campus of BITS is called as the Vidhya Vihar campus and is spread over 328 acres .The campus has spacious classrooms (area 11245 sqm) and is equipped with a state of the art library, and lecture theatre complexes. The campus boasts of a student activities centre and an expansive auditorium for student activities. The main tower building is a world known symbol of BITS, pilani.

The campus has a beautiful marble carved temple dedicated to goddess Saraswati called as Sharda Peeth built by Shri G.D.Birla in 1960 and a temple dedicated to Lord Shiva called as Shiv Ganga. It has eleven hostels for boys and one hostel for girls catering to all Under-graduate and Post-graduate students. Every two boys hostel share a mess which is fully student managed. The campus also has an Institute canteen, an all-night canteen and student activities centre cafeteria. The campus has its own shopping complex, Connaught place ,a guest house and is fully residential for all staff.
