• National Systems Conference (NSC – 95) best paper award in the area of Communications Systems in 1995.

•  Institution of Electronics and Telecommunications Engineers  (IETE), India  K S Krishnan Memorial Award  in the year 1997 for the  paper  published in the IETE Journal of Research.
