Educational Development Division (EDD) critically reviews the programmes, syllabi, course materials and regularly initiates modification of existing programmes / courses and development of new ones. This division engages itself in preparation of text books / course Materials by faculty members and looks after other needs of academic development.

EDD looks after the matters related to University Grants Commission (UGC), Department of Science and Technology (DST), All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE), Ministry of Human Resource and Development (MHRD), Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) and various other agencies.

We carry out internal evaluation and process project proposals from different groups (departments) of the institute and research proposals from individual faculty members and arrange to send them to different funding agencies. We monitor all major / minor research projects across the Institute and coordinate seminars / conferences / symposium / refresher course / training programmes / workshops etc in the Institute.

The division also encourages faculty members to attend and present research papers in National and International seminar / conferences / symposium etc held in India or abroad and provide financial assistance through UGC unassigned grant. The division also provides information to students on GRE / AGRE and coordinates GRE on subjects. The division also looks after collaboration with different academic institutes in India and abroad.
