About EDIPR UNIT
Objectives
Create entrepreneurial echo system in and around campus.Promote entrepreneurship educational programmes inside the classroom and outside the classroom.
Organize Executive Development Programmes for the benefit of professionals and entrepreneurs in the area of entrepreneurship.
Give further momentum to students related entrepreneurial activities under Center for Entrepreneurial Leadership.
Use incubation facilities for creation of entrepreneurs.
Encourage prospective entrepreneurs to undertake activities in around Pilani.
Facilitate the process of IPR’s for faculty and students.
Functions
Facilitate the networking and linkages for budding entrepreneurs .
Set up a seed fund for promotion of entrepreneurship.
Attract more and more projects under TIC from industry to be undertaken.
Create a database of BITSian and other leading entrepreneurs for involving them in our educational programmes.
Coordinate the activities of TBI.
Undertake the task of preparing case studies.
Organize entrepreneurship development programmes/ short duration programmes/workshops for professionals from industry, budding entrepreneurs.
Create greater awareness about IPR’s and encourage faculty and students to translate their research outcomes and innovations into intellectual property.
Bring out various publications in the area of entrepreneurship.
Come out with innovative entrepreneurial activities for the benefit of students.
Actively participate and contribute in the activities of NEN.
