Pareek, Associate Professor, Medicines, was awarded Gold Medal for Best
paper – “Allocation Model for DOTS using GIS”, in KOTA Chapter at XII
RAJAPICON, Jaipur.

Saha, Group Leader, Pharmacy, is Referee of Int. Journal of Pharmaceutical
and Biomedical Analysis.

1.
Prof. S.P.
Gupta is the Editor-in-chief of “Current Medicinal Chemistry –
Cardiovascular and Hematological Agents”, Benthom Science Publishers, The
Netherlands. Prof. S.P. Gupta is also the guest editor of another journal
“Current Medicinal Chemistry” by the same publisher.

Prof. R.C.
Srivastava research monograph on Liquid membrane phenomena – Biological
implications” is published by Indian Society for Surface Science and
Technology, Jan. 2002.

Prof. R.C.
Srivastava is the elected vice-president of the Indian Society for Surface
Science and Technology. He is also a member of the editorial board of the
international journal, “Surface Science and Technology”.

Prof. R.N.
Saha of Pharmacy is Member of Editorial Board of Indian Journal of
Pharmaceutical Education and Referee of Int. Journal of Pharmaceutical and
Biomedical Analysis. He is also member of Board of Studies and Research
Committee of University of Rajasthan, Guru Jambeshwar University, Hissar

Two papers
presented at 55th Indian Pharmaceutical Congress, which was held
during December 19-21, 2003 at Chennai by Dr. R. Mahesh, Group Leader, and
Dr. Sajeev Chandran, also of Pharmacy Group, were adjudged as best in oral
and poster presentation respectively.
Awards and Recognitions received by the Faculty in the Year 2004
1.
Prof. R.N.
Saha attended the AAPS Conference 2004 at Baltimore, Maryland, USA
between 7 and 11 November 2004. He also actively participated in the AAPS
Annual Meeting and Exposition at the same venue presenting various papers on
topics ranging from Gastro-retentive Drug Delivery Systems to Control
Release Matrix Tablets.

1.
Prof. R.N.
Saha, Professor of Pharmacy and Dean Faculty Division III has become
visiting professor to Department pf Pharmacy, Katmandu University, Nepal and
also supervising two faculty of pharmacy department for their doctoral
research. He visited Katmandu University for 2 weeks during summer 2005 on
invitation.

Prof. R.N.
Saha, Professor of Pharmacy and Dean Faculty Division III was selected for
receiving the Best Pharmacy Teacher award for the year 2005 conferred by
Association of Pharmacy Teachers of India (APTI). The award was presented
during APTI Annual National Convention in October 2005.

of neuropathic pain" at the 11th national convention of Association of
Pharmacy Teachers of India, Bangalore, 2006

Bhagav * for the paper titled ‘ studies on solubilization and stabilization
