Vision
Pharmacy group at BITS, Pilani has always strived to
be a top pharmacy school in the world. It has the the primary
responsibility of creating qualified and trained pharmacists who deliver
pharmaceutical care to citizens either independently or in
collaboration with other major pharmaceutical industries.
In the new global scenario the group has set its
vision to be ahead of others in terms of imparting knowledge, skills,
training to the future pharmacists catering to the needs of the industry,
academia, patient care, regulatory authorities, etc.
Strong research activities of the group help the
students at UG/PG level to acquire research based knowledge and skills at
a very early stage enabling them to shape their career objectives.
Participating in the development of new therapeutic
entities, their characterization, development of newer drug
delivery systems for such drugs, analytical and bio-analytical
back-up and evaluating the delivery of pharmaceutical care are some
of the research focus of the group.
