Current research
interests: broadly, in
the areas of Computer Networks and Pervasive
Computing.
Led / participated in several externally funded
research projects including those funded by the European Commission,
Government of India (DoE/DIT-MCIT, DEC etc.), the French Government (FMoFA, INRIA, GET, Telecom-Bretagne
etc.), several corporate laboratories including the Microsoft Research
(Redmond).
Has been a member of four IEEE Technical Committees and a co-opted member of a specific sectional
subcommittee of the Bureau of
Indian Standards (BIS) of the
Government of India; has been a reviewer for several international
journals, magazines and conferences including the IEEE Transactions on Computers, IEEE
Internet Computing, IEEE Communications, International
Journal of Computer Networked and Distributed Systems (IJCNDS), IISc Journal
etc.; is an Editor for the International Journal of Computer Networked and
Distributed Systems (IJCNDS).
