INSPIRED KARTERS RACING...

• Inspired Karters Racing is a group of young motivated students from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani who design and build racing vehicles for competitions like BAJA and SUPRA SAEINDIA organized by Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE).The vehicle will be evaluated at the competition for its commercial potential, which includes all aspects of automotive engineering: design, manufacturing, testing, developing, marketing, management and finances.

  The team name , Inspired Karters, draws inspiration from the herculean effort of making a vehicle in a resource scant place like Pilani. We believe in the motto- 'Inspiration breeds motivation which leads to success'.

  The team usually spends around a year in the entire process designing and building the vehicle.The process includes research, design, documentation, marketing, securing funding, part and tool procurement, fabrication, assembly and extensive testing. These processes are planned, implemented and controlled.

  We have secured 10th place out of the 200 odd teams that had applied for BAJA 2010.We were appreciated by the judges for our excellent design and our driver was judged as one of the best in the competition.

  This helps the objective of bringing out student talent to serve the nation for the years to come, in fulfillment of the Automotive Mission Plan (AMP2016) a dream to make India an International Automotive Hub. This SUPRA SAEINDIA 2011 scheduled from 1st July to 3rd July 2011 would be a high adrenalin event. We invite you to come and kindle your innovative ideas and creativity to experience engineering at its best.The team is all geared up to participate in BAJA India 2011 and SUPRA SAE India (FSAE India) 2011.

  Its the whole educational experience along with the adrenaline rush of the competition which drives all the team members.
