About Course

This course comprehends principles and techniques of CMOS and FPGA-based VLSI design, gain proficiency in using industry-standard tools, and develop practical skills in designing and simulating VLSI circuits using both CMOS and FPGA technologies. Students will learn the fundamentals of CMOS technology, gain proficiency in designing and optimizing CMOS circuits, and explore advanced topics such as power dissipation and low-power design techniques. This course focuses on the design and simulation of CMOS digital and analog circuits using the Electric VLSI EDA (Electronic Design Automation) Tool. The learners will be imparted with knowledge on Hardware Description Language (VHDL) and coding the digital system.

The course helps to understand the basic digital building blocks design and simulation with VHDL and implementation with FPGA. The learner can acquire knowledge on practical industrial applications and communications protocols using VHDL with Xilinx ISE and FPGA and Understand design and develop prototype using FPGA with the Xilinx Vivado Design suite Software for Industrial applications.
