A pillar of strength, a man must become

A pillar of strength, for his daughter or son

Helping mom get some rest in between
Whilst taking care of the nest evergreen

The pressure felt is none alike

To be a role model, to raise them right

To remind them to stand strong, head raised
And help them up when beating down or fazed

But the joy you perceive within the hug you embrace

Is just as unique of a feeling people often say
The heart melts when their eyes meet yours

Such purity, the man had never felt before

For children, bring out the best in you

And you, strive to be like the father you had
Don't backseat drive or crack a lame dad joke

Here’s to your very own fatherhood, the young bloke
