been waiting for me to get home. I put a blanket over them and came upstairs to my room. I
changed into some pyjamas and then lay down on my bed. I was trying to process what a
wonderful day I had had.
The technological developments that had been incorporated into daily life post the pandemic
are unlike anything I have ever imagined. One thing that makes me so happy though is that
people are starting to appreciate the simpler moments in life more. Pre-pandemic, it seemed
that the only thing everyone was obsessed with was posting the perfect Instagram picture and
making sure they got more likes and comments than other people. Now, it feels like people
rstand the value of human connection and human interaction, and they have really embraced
it. I’m gutted that I have missed so much but I really can’t wait to experience this new life - it
feels like I can do anything now.
I fell asleep at around 3 am. I’ve just woken up, in time for lunch and I can smell Mom
cooking some roasted potatoes. Time to go!
