Crabby, But cute!

The blue sea was roaring,
Shaking the ocean bed.
Throwing on the shore,
Some crabs with pigment red.
Some were huge, some were tiny
All shells like painted red,
Crawling on top of each other,
A sight to dread.
Walking slow and clumsily,
Clutching claws in the sand.
Taking lil’ steps forward,
Like a real Romeo, Grabbing his sweetheart’s hand.
Orange sky with clouds grey,
Eagles like flying with zeal,
Ambush began on the crabs,
Leaving wounds to heal.
Began the hunt for survival,
The dig for food.
Sheer hard work for the day,
Results were crude.
Not ever did they give up,
Tries for a leap.
But all they need now,
Was a spot to sleep.
