Amitabh has more than 22 years of experience and is a Partner in the Transactions practise of EY where he has worked on a wide range of Corporate Finance Strategy projects for corporate and private equity clients.
Amitabh leads the Education Sector for EY India and is closely involved with all significant projects across both public and private clients in the Education sector. Amitabh has also worked in Industry as the CEO for GEMS Education India and as an Independent Advisor to various high growth businesses in the Education, Technology and Food and Agri sectors.
Amitabh is a Chartered Accountant and a commerce graduate from the Osmania University, Hyderabad. Amitabh has served as the Co-chair of the FICCI K12 Committee and closely involved with the school and higher education sectors over the last 10 years.
Amitabh has been a strategic Advisor to senior executives at large Education clients of the firm with national responsibility for overseeing the firms' activities in the Education sector. He has worked with most of large Education players across K12, Higher Education, Skill Development and Education services and served multiple private equity funds.
