Handling the hustle and bustle whether in modern times or ancient,

Mother earth taught us to be tranquil and patient.

Flowing unceasingly, irrespective of light and darkness,
Precious water taught us to be persistent and relentless.

Glowing vibrantly, driver of both passion and anger,

Luminous fire taught us to deal with adversities like an avenger.

Eternally dynamic, absence of which will bring everything to stand still,
Strokes of air taught us to thrill and fulfil.

Omnipresent, grazing at all of us in the friendliness,

Beyond the clouds, the sky taught us to be perpetual and limitless.

Star lighting the night sky, bringing us calm ecstasy,
Fireflies taught us to be a beacon in the darkness, things don’t come so easy.

Taking negativity all around, turning it into oxygen for breathing,

Vital trees taught us to be persistent, compassionate and giving.
