POSTER SUBMISSION
Presenting a poster is a good way to
discuss and receive feedback on a work in progress that has not been fully developed into a paper.
Poster Format:
Please prepare your posters in A0 paper
size in portrait mode. You will need to bring a printed copy of your poster (on a flex) to the
poster session. We will arrange for the necessary support system (poster stands, clips etc.). Please
ensure to make your poster visually appealing. Posters should not represent previously published
work.
- Each poster presenter is required to defend his/her poster during the respective poster session
slot.
- Prepare your poster carefully so that it can be used as the basis to explain and answer
questions from the viewers.
- The title of your poster should be done in block letters which are AT LEAST 8 to 10 cm (3 to 4
inches) high.
- Include the Proposer details: include name, affiliation, and email address.
- Provide an introduction (outline) and a summary or conclusion for your poster.
- Main Content :
- Include the objective of the work, Methodology, Key Findings, funding sources if any and any
other relevant information.
- Strive to have a continuous flow of ideas through text, figures, diagrams and graphs.
- All text must be easily readable from a distance of 1 to 2 meters.
- It is a good idea to sequentially number the tables and figures in the poster. This will
indicate to the viewer a logical progression through your poster.
Awards for Poster Submissions
Based on feedback from the panel of
judges during the poster session, the three best posters will be awarded.
