Dr. Virendra Singh Shekhawat is an Assistant Professor in Department of Computer Science & Information Systems at Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani. He is holding the position of Faculty In-Charge for Software Development & Educational Technologies at BITS, Pilani. He received his Ph.D. in Computer Science & Engineering from BITS Pilani in the year 2014. He also holds M.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering, M.Sc in Physics from BIT Mesra, Ranchi and MDS University Ajmer respectively. His broad research interests are Computer Networking, Distributed Systems, Multi-robot Systems, Delay Tolerant Networks, and Software Defined Networks. Dr. Virendra is guiding three PhD scholars in the area of Cloud Computing, Assistive Robotics, and Multi-robot exploration. He has published several research papers in Journals, International and national conferences of repute. He is a professional member of the IEEE and ACM.
