Cold Love
Hrishikesh Chandrayan 2017A1PS0665P
Nothing seems to differ
She stares into my eyes
Peeping into my soul
My heart skips a beat
But not out of love
Nothing seems to differ
That expression on her face
Wanting me to speak
Clawing up my throat
Choking stutters
Nothing seems to differ
I would still not blink
When I look at her eyes
She sits stiff and still
Just as her heartbeats
Nothing seems to differ
Wearing ruby necklace
Cold she is, so she looks
Still shiver before I speak
A shiver down my spine
Nothing seems to differ
Even today I dint speak
Even today I flinched
Now I have an excuse
Death proposed and she said a "yes".
