Each century comes and passes by,
Humanity hopes against oblivion
Countless years have passed alright
There is no reason for the end to be nigh

Each decade comes and passes by,
The world around has grown so much
“And with the world have grown I”
With sleepless nights of work and missing a lullaby

Each year comes and passes by,
As we work harder and strive
No time to lay or loiter
Must get paid to survive

Each month comes and passes by,
Now with some hopes shattered
“I got what I deserve”
Say some with delight, some with a sigh

Each fortnight comes and passes by,
There is still time to get what you seek
After all, since your promise,
It’s only been a week!

Each week comes and passes by,
As we seek out what they need
Towards a goal we must work
Must start now in order to succeed

Each day comes and passes by,
As all step into the future
It's now time to rise and shine
The sun’s up high and we have no time to whine

Each hour comes and passes by
As all set their aims high
“Hard work is the key to a future very bright”
Towards a goal all set their sight

Each minute comes and passes by
As we dream of the far-sighted glory
Plan ahead move ahead
Is all that you need to worry
