(Olivia’s ghost laughs)

Teacher: Close your eyes and just remember all your hard work, your talent and I are always
with you.

(Olivia smiles and calmly regains her posture as her ghost and the teacher fade away and exit)

Olivia: Teacher this one’s for you. I hope this reaches you wherever you are and makes you
smile like the way I remember.

(Olivia begins playing the violin. The lightings on the stage turn to a mellow reddish yellow
colour to match the warmth of her music making the judges suddenly become extremely
alert.)

Judge 3: (to Judge 2) Well what do you have to say now, not so washed-up anymore, is she?

Judge 2: (chuckles) well the protégé of Rob had to be outstanding. I always knew it, a pity he
isn’t here to witness her spread her wings like this.

Olivia: (under her breath) Teacher thank you for introducing me to my love. All these years
of practice and I know I have you right beside me forever.
