Samson: Sure, I would love that, thanks Julia!

Julia gets up and moves towards the deck door to enter the house and get some snacks for
them. Samson keeps his glance on Julia until she enters the door and finally disappears from
               his sight.

Samson: (turning to Arnold) you’re quite lucky to have a wife so pretty and caring as Julia,
               sometimes I’m jealous of you

Arnold: Haha, one is very much likely to get jealous with what others have, but once you
have what they have, you realize the reality.
Samson: What, aren’t you happy with her?

Arnold: Oh no, I sure am really happy with her, I was just kidding. I really am lucky to have
her in my life. Here she comes.

Julia enters the deck again with a tray of snacks and another 3 beer cans.

Julia: Why am I getting the sight of a showstopper?

Samson: Oh. I was just complementing Arnold on how lucky he’s to have you in his life. But
I think he doesn’t think so.

Julia: (with a deliberate and comic sense of frown on her face looking towards Arnold) Is it
               honey?

Arnold: No no darling, not at all, In fact I couldn’t have agreed more with what Samson said.
Tell her Samson, don’t joke around, it’s a matter of my happy survival in this house.

All three of them have a good laugh. There are thunderous clouds over the sea visible from a
distance. The roaring of the waves are unusually loud and can be heard clearly at the deck.

Samson: (turning towards Julia and with a wry smile starts talking to her) Tell me Julia,
how’s life been for you after you decided to quit the job.

Julia: Well, it wasn’t much of a choice when I decided to quit. Becoming a mother imposes
certain responsibilities you know. I just had to without any option. But then you get to know
the depth of life which lies beyond ambition. The laughter of the child, the peaceful sleeping
face of him. You get to know life from a standing still point of view rather than from a
running point of view. There’s a bliss of its own in such a life.

Samson: Well good for you to find peace in a still life. I couldn’t imagine such an
unhappening life for myself. But people are different, you know.

Arnold: What do you mean Samson, don’t you wanna find peace in life at some point in your
               life?

Samson: Boredom I’d rather say. What use it is when you’re just sitting and looking at the
waves come and go at the shore repeatedly again and again. Or “enjoying nature” as you call
it. Even when free, I’ll not waste my time like that.
