Scene 2: Inside the courtroom, a 32ft-by-32ft room in normal catholic style architecture with

the judge’s dais on the back facing forward, the jury box to the right and the victim/plaintiffs
on forward right while the defendants are on forward left. Both defendants and plaintiffs are

facing the judge. The jury has not yet exited out of their room with their judgement.
               (Defendant table)

Kevin (Hunt Lawyer, right): So, you succeeded in getting her car documents changed right?

Hunt (left): Yes. Just took a quick call with my friends at Chevrolet.
Kevin: Couldn’t they have done it quicker? I needed to call in a favour with the Evidence unit

to have it changed before it hit the jury.
Hunt: They did it as quickly as possible. No way was this trial supposed to get fast tracked so

quickly. And I will not let that woman ruin me.

               (Plaintiff table)
Kenneth (right): And you’re sure that you managed to swap in the SMS message and the bank

               ping.
Talton (public prosecutor, left): Managed to have a police officer exchange it in the Evidence

               Unit.
Kenneth: And you’re sure that the jury won’t find it weird that we did not present it?

Talton: Not in a county or court this small. They don’t realise how big this actually is. I’ve

hounded Mr. Hunt for so many years and have failed on all turns. I will not let this slip by me.
(Jury members enter from back right and get seated at the jury box. Envelope with vote is

handed to the judge on the dais)
Judge (opens envelope): Very well then. It is time to declare the verdict of the case of the state

                                                                                           th
