When the day came, they all went to the caves. They used to go out only at night. Sindbad

thought, ‘These snakes must be afraid of the rock bird.’
Then Sindbad saw that the pieces of meat started falling in the valley with a sound. He

remembered old stories. When the eagles had to go to find food for their young, sailors and
merchants would put pieces of meat in the valley so that the diamonds would stick to them.

Then those eagles used to come down and pick up the meat. The sailors kept an eye on their

nests. When the eagles came with the meat, the sailors would fly them away and pick up the
diamonds.

Sindbad pricked the huge diamonds into the flesh and tied the flesh tightly to his turban, putting
the flesh on his body. Then he lay down with his face down.

Sindbad hoped that some big bird would fly him out of the valley in the greed of meat. Sindbad

had learned not to be afraid of any trouble. Although he felt a little afraid to do so, but he knew
that success in life is hidden in front of fear. He lay there bravely, as if there was no life in his

body.
After completing the story, Sindbad again rewarded Hindbad with a hundred dinars. Sindbad

invited him to come the next day also. Hindbad happily agreed.
When Hindbad returned to his home, he kept thinking of Sindbad. By meeting him, his thinking

about the rich had changed.

Them he also roams to third place
● Third journey- “I had forgotten all the troubles of the previous trips and was getting

restless to go on the journey again.” Sindbad told his guests, “This time I took more. In
addition to my old sailors, I took some new companions and we set off.

Merchants continued to sell their goods at the ports from time to time. Everything went well

for a few days. But one day there was a heavy storm in the sea and the ship lost its way.
“If only! I would not have come to this island.” The captain said worriedly, “This place is full

of terrible dwarves. They come in flocks and attack people and kill them.”
Sindbad said, “You should not do such things at this time. We should warn our sailors about

this by warning them.”

Before the sailors realised the danger, they saw a swarm of dwarves approaching them. He was
a two-foot dwarf with red hair. They jumped into the water and reached the ship.

He dropped all the sailors on a deserted island and took off with the ship. Now the sailors had
no way of escape.
