Mr. Hanks: Why do you think Mr. Watson has done this and no other people in the house?
Mr. Lee: I think only he could have done it because I saw a temptation in his eyes and words
after I had shown the painting in the first place.
Miss Smith: Objection Your Honour, Speculation.
Judge Danny: Sustained.
Mr. Hanks: Ok Your Honor. That’s all I wanted to ask from Mr. Lee. Now, I want to bring Mr.
Arthur to the witness box.
Judge: Permission Granted.
The bailiff approaches Mr. Arthur to escort him to the witness box.
Bailiff (Swearing in): Do you swear to tell the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth,
On God.
Mr. Arthur: Yes.
Mr. Hanks: What are your findings about the case Mr. Arthur. Who do you think has done the
crime?
Mr. Arthur: First of all, there cannot be someone from the outside as the house was locked from
everywhere and the CCTV cameras also show this. Mr. Jacobs is on a trip in Canada. The knife
used to vandalise the painting is usually used by Mr. Watson as the testimony of the roommates
suggests. Miss Smith was talking on the phone at that time as being testified by other members
and also her call records show this. Miss Banks was gaming at that time as said by her and has
been verified by her game history. So only Miss Olivia and Mr. Watson remain.
Mr. Hanks: And who do you think it is between Miss Olivia and Mr. Watson?
Mr. Arthur: So, we don’t have clear evidence about this but Miss Olivia is an artist and she
loves paintings. Someone like that, I assume cannot vandalise a precious gem like a Picasso
painting.
Mr. Hanks: That’s all your honour.
Miss Smith: Your Honour, I want to bring Miss Olivia to the witness box.
The bailiff approaches Miss Olivia to escort him to the witness box.
Bailiff (Swearing in): Do you swear to tell the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth,
On God.
Miss Olivia: Yes.
Miss Smith: So, Miss Olivia you are an artist huh?
Miss Olivia: Yes, why are you saying it like that!
Miss Smith: How much time has it been since you started painting?
Miss Olivia: It’s been 15 years.
