SETTING.
It is an early morning around 8:00 AM, in a studio apartment in New York. There has been a
murder of the tenant of the apartment. Mrs Marple, the landlady saw the body through the
keyhole of the door after Frank Choke did not answer the bell. She called the police right away
and two officers showed up in the next few minutes.
Frank Choke was an extremely reputed young lawyer with a great win record, he was
considered a prodigy by the other advocates due to his intelligence and fact bending in the
courtroom at such a young age. The body is laid in the centre of the small 16x20 feet room
which is furnished with nothing more than a bed and a cabinet. Coroner Toomes breaks open
the door and the three investigators enter
DAILOGUE.
Enter Mrs. Marple, Inspector Moriarty, Coroner Toomes
Marple: (Gushing through the door) There it is Inspector. I did not move a thing as you asked
me to.
Moriarty: (Pulls out a pair of gloves from his jacket and stretches them over his long hands)
Stabbed to death in the abdomen, seems like one fatal blow was enough. (He continues to
crouch and touch the dead body in the centre of the room) No signs of visible struggle, pupils
