               CHARACTERS

               Interrogator, Dect. Krish Yadav

Suspect, Mr David Kumar (Dentist - Murderer)
               Captain, Capt. Mayank Singh

               Lawyer, Karan Gupta

               SETTING

A dimly lit soundproof room with an access door with 4 locks. One wall of the room is a
two-way mirror. The room has three chairs and a table containing a hidden voice recorder and
a metal bar with long handcuffs attached to it. Two CCTV cameras cover every inch of the
room. Two inspectors and an interrogator are talking in the room while they are being
observed behind the mirror by the Captain of Police, a polygrapher and a behavioural expert
were also present in the room.

The interrogator signals and one of the inspectors leaves and brings the suspect into the room.
As the suspect enters, the interrogator kicks the chair where the suspect was about to sit. The
suspect stares at the interrogator, himself kicks the second chair, chooses to stand instead of
sitting and glares at the interrogator. The captain rings the bell, a signal for the interrogator to
meet him outside. After hearing the bell the interrogator stands up and intentionally spills
lemonade on himself and uses it as a pretense to leave the room.

               BEGIN.

               (Entering the mirror room)

Interrogator: Sir, this is David Kumar vs Mukul Modi - the high profile case, the dentist who
killed his colleague, Mukul, son of MLA-Mahendra Modi. No witnesses or alibi therefore the
court won’t bring charges due to lack of circumstantial evidence.

Captain: (Reading report file) we’ve no murder weapon, no witness, hmm. The body was
found in garbage bins fifteen kilometres from his clinic and half-rotten. (Smiles)

I will be joining you, miss the adrenaline-Breaking the suspect down. (Smirking) Talking
quietly yet being loud. Looking away and then trapping them with eyes.

Interrogator: Aye -aye captain, several of these techniques work well if we are two: smart
cop/bad cop, mad cop/sane cop, fast-talking street smart cop and port cop, a.k.a. the "Rush
               Hour.” Let’s start the show.

(They enter the room quietly, the inspectors jump up to salute them- unsettling David)
