David: (interrupting) “Missing meds”
Captain: Missing meds doesn’t sound like automating the clinic. Would you care to
elucidate?
David: He thought that somebody was stealing Amethocaine, a sedative. That’s why he
needed to modify the clinic with group action to medication stocks. Another question,
(looking at this watch).
Interrogator: You and Mukul were partners, right? However, Mukul owned the business, why
so?
David: Clinic was sponsored by Mukul’s dad, I joined him a year later, he was already
established by then, I never wanted any recognition so never gave it a thought. Captain
signals the Interrogator to meet him outside.
Captain: Let’s break for a few minutes, I have important work to attend to.
(They both leave the area)
(Entering the mirror room)
Captain: Something’s amiss.
Captain to Polygrapher: Is he lying?
Polygrapher: Nope, all clear.
Captain to behaviour expert: Did you see any anomaly?
Behaviour expert: He’s very confident and seems a tough nut to crack, you need some robust
arguments to break him.
Captain to Interrogator: What were you doing in there, anyways? You utterly discredited me.
Interrogator: Sorry Sir, my intentions were not so, however, I am trying to play the dumb cop
to highlight you as a sensible one. If you didn’t like…...I can……..
Captain: (arrogantly) with my superior intelligence, I will badger him with some smart
questions belittling you at the same time. Then I’ll leave you alone with him with the hopes
that he'll relax his guard (to others) and be ready to benefit from this straight away.
Everyone: Yes sir, sure sir.
(Captain is ecstatic at his plan.)
Interrogator: Thus, you expect me to ask him dumb questions?
Captain: Affirmative, add relevance to all the cop movies.
(Both enter the area and captain immediately starts interrogating David)
Captain: You two talked in the operation theatre. Why there? Why not your cabin?
