Interrogator: Hi David

David: Detective!!

Interrogator: This is Captain Mayank Singh (staring into David’s eyes) solved the multiple
high-profile cases, such as Bhanwari Devi murder case, Satyam scandal, Sister Abhaya
murder case, and INX Media case, infamous for spewing out secrets from ‘Rajesh
Masan’(David eyes him expressionlessly)

Captain: Let’s recap- the night when Mukul Modi died -- Sunday the 16th? (David nods) I
assume you were the last person to see him alive, correct?
David: Not I, Captain, whoever killed him saw him last.

Interrogator: Didn’t you……...

Captain: (calmly) Tell me what happened on Sunday, 16th?

David: (sighing) This is the hundredth time I am telling this, (irritated) but if you promise to
leave me, I will tell you all one more time, I had a late afternoon surgery, an easy RC on
molars, I wrapped around five PM. and then Mukul and I discussed the usual matters of the
clinic.

Captain: Who else was at the clinic?

David: Isha, our secretary, had left early because of her anniversary.

Captain: Thus, it was you and Mukul. Lucky, No witness

David: (rolling eyes) Some lucky I have been, coming for interrogation from the last four
days just coz there have been no witnesses, how I wish I had not given Isha an early off!! So
many ifs (sighs). Mukul and I were discussing automating our clinic, from appointments to
attendance. He had a proposal from a company, Plan-Everyday. Mukul had been using their
services for a week. (The Interrogator leaves the area to receive a fake call)

Captain: And that is all you discussed?

David: yeah

Captain: (loudly) nothing else?

David: Nah.

(The Captain stares at him)

Interrogator: Just talked to Plan-Every day’s CEO. They didn’t send any proposal to Mukul
regarding clinic automation.

(Both angrily watch David)

Interrogator: Fortunately, They gave me access to Mukul’s account to investigate, (Checking
the phone) Ahh ha Sunday, 16th 5:30 pm “Talk to David about…………”
