VDAT-2023 Student/Faculty Fellowships

VDAT 2023 invites B.Tech/M.Tech/Ph.D and faculty members working in the relevant fields of VLSI & broad areas covered under the VLSI Design and Test symposium to apply for the fellowships funded by the generous support from participating companies and GOI (Government of India). Fellowship entitles you to get complete waveoff on the conference registration fee. The B.Tech/M.Tech/Ph.D and faculty members who apply for fellowship must be full time B.Tech/M.Tech/Ph.D or faculty at the time of the symposium and they must be able to produce valid institutional identity card at the registration desk.

VDAT 2023 Important points and Fellowship Guidelines

  • Fellows need to attend the entire 3-day conference. A record of attendance would be maintained for the same.
  • One of the authors of an accepted paper must register by paying the full amount of registration fees whereas rest of the authors may apply for fellowship.
  • Selected candidates will get the registration support.
  • To avail the fellowship B.Tech/M.Tech/Ph.D and faculty members need to apply on or before 15th of August, 2023 25th of August 2023.
  • B.Tech/M.Tech students may also be provided dormitory accomodation free of charge for the entire duration of the conference.

Application process

  • Applications for VDAT-2023 Student/Faculty Fellowships can be submitted online by filling up the google form using the link https://forms.gle/cHaPDDXKz291j1neA
  • It is mandatory for the applicant to upload a recommendation letter from the institute authority (Research Supervisor/Guide/HoD). The template for the recommendation letter can be downloaded using link Faculty Fellowship VDAT-23 and Student Fellowship VDAT-23
  • Please submit only one form per applicant. Multiple entries may lead to rejection of the application.

Important dates

  • Last date for submission of application: 25th August 2023
  • Notification for award of fellowship: 30th August 2023

Notification for the award of fellowship will be sent on the email address provided by the applicant in the google form. A list of fellowship awardees will also be posted on the conference website.

The VLSI Design & Test Symposium (VDAT) promotes research and development in various fields of VLSI Design. VDAT began as a small workshop in the year 1998, and in 2005 it acquired the status of an international symposium.
