(He lived with his wife and 8-year old son Robert in a small 3 BHK house in a peaceful

               neighbourhood.)
Jonathan: It must be Robert waking up for a late night snack again.*sigh*, time to go spank

               him.
(His son Robert had been doing weird stuff lately ever since his wife left the house to visit her

               parents.)

Jonathan gets off his bed and opens his door to go to the kitchen.
(On the way there he notices the window beside the front door was open. )

Jonathan: That’s strange; I remember that window being shut before I went to bed.
Jonathan ponders as he goes and closes the window.

(He then heads to the kitchen and turns on the light.)

Jonathan: wow! What a mess he has made!
(The cookie jar was empty and shattered on the floor)

Jonathan: *frowning* Ok this time I won’t go easy on him and set his straight once and for all.
Jonathan cleans up the mess and goes to his son’s bedroom and opens the door.

(The room is quiet with the moonlight pouring in from the window and onto his son’s bed.)
Jonathan: *in a stern voice* ok that’s enough acting, get off your bed immediately or I will tell

               everything to your mom.

Robert: please don’t papa! I am sorry! I woke up hungry and just wanted a few cookies.
Jonathan: A few? You ate the entire jar! Heck, you even broke it after you were done!

Robert: It was a mistake! I did not turn the kitchen light on and It was very dark.
Jonathan: mistake or not you will receive your punishment, also, why did you leave the front

               door window open?

Robert: I did not open- I’m sorry it was getting a little suffocating and wanted some cool air.
Jonathan: Whatever, it’s too late now so go back to bed we will talk about this again tomorrow.

Jonathan shuts off the lights and when he is about to close the door he notices something shine
under the bed. The moonlight illuminates the object a little and it turns out to be two objects,

               shining, like eyes.

Jonathan pretends he did not notice and closes the door.
Jonathan: Was that the neighbour’s cat? Why did he bring it home? Did he open the window

to go outside and get the cat in the middle of the night? Is this why Robert has been acting sus
               lately?

(Many questions fill Jonathan’s mind when he hears someone walking up to his front door from
               outside.)
