               SCENE ONE
               DR. TAILOR BROWN’S office.

Two large chairs directly across from each other. A coffee table with a tissue box sits between
the two. Behind the coffee table is a larger table with a coffee pot, disposable cups and a

scented candle. Tailor sits across from her patient, Jess. She holds a notebook and a pen. Jess
has a cup of coffee in her hand.

Tailor: So, is there anything else you wanted to talk about before our session ends?

Jess: Yeah. There was another incident....
               Tailor: Oh? Please go on.

(Tailor clicks open the pen. She gets ready to take notes.)

Jess: I was going to see a movie last weekend.
               Tailor: The Spider- Man one?

Jess: Right. I went to see it and I bought my ticket and everything. I was feeling like having
popcorn, so I got in line to get some. And that’s when I saw... him.

(Jess tenses up. Tailor takes note of this.)
               Tailor: Your ex?

Jess: Yeah, Tom. We made eye contact. The second I saw him, I felt like I couldn’t breathe.

Everything he ever said to me came rushing back. I wanted to scream at him and run away at
               the same time.

Tailor: And what did you do?
               (A pause)

               Jess: I ran away.
Tailor: After paying for your ticket?
